1997—2005Foundation
EGYGRAFX s.a.e. is established (formerly Egycomp Graphics), distributing CalComp plotters with installations at major CAD/GIS public projects, consulting and engineering firms, and the oil sector — including large-format inkjet and thermal printers.
Introducing the first large-format graphic printer from LaserMaster.
Cooperation with Fei Yeung Union to introduce INFINITI printers in Egypt and North Africa — starting an installation base that would run for over fifteen years.
First installations of ColorSpan professional graphic printers in Egypt, at every top repro-house and print service provider.
Introducing ENCAD printers for retail applications and Kodak printers for the photographic sector, at most Kodak partners.
Kodak acquires ENCAD and keeps EGYGRAFX as official distributor.
BLAZE announcement and the introduction of XLjet 3 m / 5 m outdoor printers.
Over 30 XLjet printers installed across Egypt, Lebanon, Syria and Jordan.
Exhibiting at MediaWord, with the installation of a ColorSpan FB5400.
